Website, statistics and cookies

WordPress.com/Automattic hosts this website. IP addresses, browser and device details, visited pages and access times may be processed. Necessary technical processing supports secure operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Jetpack provides usage statistics; the visible counter shows aggregated views.

The free WordPress.com plan may display advertising and use additional cookies. Where required, consent applies (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25 TDDDG). Details about processing, recipients, international transfers, retention and choices are available in Automattic’s visitor privacy notice and cookie policy.

Contact form and social media

The contact form processes your name, email address and message to respond to your enquiry under Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR as applicable. WordPress.com/Jetpack forwards submissions to the operator’s Gmail inbox. Additional storage in the form dashboard is disabled; technical logs and email copies may still exist. If Akismet is active, submission data may be processed for spam checking. Enquiries are deleted when no longer needed unless retention duties apply. Do not send health information through this form, email or social media.

Facebook and Instagram are ordinary links, not embedded feeds. Their providers’ privacy information applies when you open them.

Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for the future. Contact the controller above. You may complain to the Brandenburg data protection authority or another competent authority.
